Moo Deng and Peanut the Squirrel trading will be live as of 15:00 PM UTC today, December 18, 2024.
To add an asset to your Kraken account, navigate to Funding, select the asset you’re after, and hit ‘Deposit’.
Make sure to deposit your tokens into networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost.
The new tokens are tradeable on Kraken and Kraken Pro with the following parameters:

Moo Deng (MOODENG) is a memecoin based on the famous pygmy hippopotamus at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Si Racha, Chonburi, Thailand. The Solana-based token is held by fans of the hippo, whose community congregates on X and Telegram. As a memecoin, MOODENG has no stated utility, its value instead arising from the vibrancy of its community and the virality of Moo Deng the hippo.
Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT) is a token paying homage to Peanut — a NYC rescued eastern gray squirrel. Prior to being euthanized by the NYSDEC, Peanut had amassed over 500,000 Instagram followers. PNUT is a Solana-based memecoin whose value is derived from its meme appeal and community strength.
