15 Aug Can Bitcoin Improve Election Integrity? Posted on 15 Aug 2025 in Education, Freedom by ricardom The adoption of Simple Proof, the Bitcoin based timestamping system, used by Screven County, in Georgia, in the US last year, marks a notable advancement in election security. Offering a tamper-evident, independently verifiable record of results without exposing sensitive data, the method anchors cryptographic hashes of election documents to Bitcoin’s decentralised ledger. In doing so it ensures transparency, safeguards against post-election alterations, and reduces reliance on vulnerable centralised systems. This approach mirrors Simple Proof’s earlier success in Guatemala’s 2023 presidential election, where it…

If two pages rank (home page and careers page) but serve different purposes, that’s fine, but if there’s overlap, you should fix it.Consolidate, canonicalize, or redirect overlapping pagesWhen keyword overlap shows up, you’ve got three options:Merge content into the stronger page and 301 redirect the weaker oneCanonicalize if the content must stay live but shouldn’t rankLeave both live if they serve different intents or funnel stagesIn one case, we found pages ranking at positions 12 and 35 for the same keyword. Neither was on page one, so we merged them and redirected the lower-performing page to consolidate authority and improve…

My saga to get a full node working again continues: I started over with a fresh install of 29.0 and removed my datadir completely. Initially it looked good, and I made good progress synchronizing, but as I am getting to less than two year behind, there is hardly any progress. I include the debug log from my bitcoin-qt -datadir=/u/bigdata2/,bitcoin on my Ubuntu 22.04. Towards the end you can see just how long it takes to advance just one block. Any help on how to debug this ituation would be highly appreciated. Cheers, Merlin 2025-08-14T23:08:20Z Bitcoin Core version v29.0.0 (release build)…
So step one to communicating really effectively with your senior SEO stakeholders is identifying the outcomes that matter to them. That’s the goals, the things that they’re being tasked with, the stuff that they are having to talk to their stakeholders about every day. These are the initiatives and goals that you’ve heard spoken about in the all-hands meetings or in your team away days. It’s the things that they are constantly reinforcing that you maybe don’t fully understand, or maybe you think you do understand them, but actually, when you really dig into it, they’re using different metrics or different…

Key Takeaways Higher leverage = bigger trades, but also bigger risk. Margin is the money locked by your broker when you open a trade. If your losses get too big, a margin call can close your trades. MT5 shows your margin and free margin live in the…
